I can’t say I am that into holidays, but man I think I earned this one…as did every other Mom out there! Sure, I have not finished a meal, or set my alarm clock since kids were born, but as my husband says, “I’ll sleep when I am dead.” Some days it feels like we are a wrestling tag team with the kids. I am exhausted by 8pm. But who cares, an “I love you” or spontaneous hug make watching my sweeties grow into amazing people all worth.
This year Quin made me a cute birdhouse at pre-school. This means a lot considering the kids hates crafts and doing them is like pulling teeth. The first day of pre school they sent him home with a blank sheet of paper with his name scribbled on it titled, “This is what I did on my first day of preschool!”
