Starting speed work

Sev has been coaching me for almost 14 years. Yikes! I can usually guess the workouts he going to do, but frankly I don’t want to know until just before if it is something on the track. In this week’s episode, Sev gives his recommendation for a first track workout and talks about rest intervals. If you are looking to get faster and mix things up a bit, this is a great place to start. If you like to race in racing shoes, do yourself a favor and wear them for the workout. No need to handicap yourself before you start. Enjoy. It’s fun to feel F-A-S-T!!!
