Well. What to do you when your husband takes a new job about 90 minutes aways, and you no longer have the “luxury”” of running at 5:30 am outside?….You buy a new best friend.
When we moved from Boston, I happily said goodbye to our treadmill, sold it and haven’t missed it for a day since being in California. Sure, it saved me from falling on the ice and getting hit by a car while running in 15 degree weather in the dark, but honestly, I am pretty sure time slows on a dreadmill…I mean treadmill. I guess I should check my attitude at the door. Yippee. It’s like my own private wormhole, and the closest I will come to time travel. But, the show must go on. At least I can watch the news for the first time in 5 years.
